Hi Karen,

Once again, hard-hitting, and ever-so-tender. (Wait a minute ... that's the gospel! :-) )

I too had a difficult medical appointment, only it wasn't mine; I was helping my 98-year-old mother. And the appointment itself was actually fine, it was the flurry of an angry sibling who is angry that I scheduled an MRI for my mom (to see if she has a concussion). The sibling thinks all MRI are "highly risky" and should only be done when all other avenues are exhausted.

So I'm dealing with a difficult sibling who is questioning how I help my mom. (She lives hours away and cannot help my mom.) And ... I'm frustrated.

You remind me that He is with me ... when I'm frustrated. And He is always up to something good, and perhaps my very frustration is the area He wants to purify.

Sam

Oh, Sam, hard times—trying to do the best for your mom and being second-guessed by a sibling.

Lord, give peace, patience, and clarity, please. Use this situation in any way You deem right to continue to purify Sam’s heart so that he can walk in more wholeness. As we, every one, need. We need You every hour, every minute. Thank You. Amen.

Bless you, Sam!
