I love the depth of worship in today's prayer and meditation. Yes! We will debate how the Lord's sovereignty and our choice intermingle (and debate till He returns), but even in your reference to that debate, you bow before the One who is "majestic, mysterious, and good."
I'm a Presbyterian, so I have a background in the "sovereignty" camp; and yet I know completely that God loves and delights in our "choice" to worship and adore Him. (He doesn't want empty minded robots.)
And so we "CHOOSE" to to worship, declare YOUR truth, and ascribe (and ascribe to You only) all glory, honor, and power.
Thank you Karen! And thank you Lord for inspiring Karen, while never pulling puppet strings; alluring us instead with your beauty and goodness.
Thanks, Sam! Yes, what mystery we embrace when we encounter Him. And what love, to which we respond with worship. So grateful to be part of his family, however that all happened. Yes, thank you Jesus, for who You are and who You are making us to be.
