Maybe your most beautiful poem so far, and ever so true and moving.
I am (and we all are) SO very tempted to make God in our image, to judge Him when He "falls short" of what we KNOW is best, to try to control or tame Him with our prayers and good deeds.
Instead, you have called us to love Him as He is, creator, friend, and authority.
I am sure that my "best" sermons are the ones I feel are just adequate (or worse!). I think it means that those are the times we especially know we need the Holy Spirit to work (in us and the readers/listeners).
And isn' that what we most want: For God to work through us!
Hi Karen,
Maybe your most beautiful poem so far, and ever so true and moving.

Father, we need You in every area of our lives.
Wow, Sam, thanks! I thought it was adequate. Lovely to hear your affirming response.
Yes, Father, we need you in every area.
Blessings on your day. I hope your health is getting better. 🙏🏻
I love it! It's so funny.

Yes! It is funny, isn’t it. And wonderful!
