Just this week, I've been thinking about a line early in your poem: "Your kindness has led us to repentance."
Why do we always think of repentance coming after harsh lecture and fire-and-brimstone sermons. Sure, fear can lead to a kind of change. But for me, the deepest change has always come from His goodness and kindness.
And the more I LOOK at His goodness and kindness, the more I can walk in His ways.
Oh, yes, isn’t it so wonderful and so non intuitive for humans, that it’s his kindness that convicts us. That leads us to follow him, to renounce our sin, to enjoy him. Glory!
Amen.Thank you Karen. Much needed. Blessings.
Welcome! Glad they were the right words for you today. The Lord bless you.
