I was captured by your title, "Always the Father's Dear Children." It's just what I need today.
Right now, this past week (and this upcoming week), I'm frazzled with too much to do (WAY too much) and too little time (and energy) to do it.
I'm overwhelmed.
But your reminder, I'm His dear child, is the perfect balm for my soul. I can have "too much to do" and still be at peace in His arms. I need not do all things perfectly, or even do it well. That's putting pressure He hasn't asked of me. But I DO want to do "all things in Him."
Just do what I can, and leave the results up to Him.
As His child, I felt God say, "Give me your five loaves, and watch me multiply it."
It's not my job to feed His 5,000. It's my job to be the child who offers my two mites (switching stories here :-) ) and let's God do as He always does: which is to bring His love, goodness, and power.
Thanks!!! I am His belove child. That's all I need.
Yes, Sam, always good to reminded that knowing that we are God’s dear child is the center, the core, the substance, of what we need. Glad to have been, again, a means of grace to you.
Blessings on your day. Thanks for your words, which contribute so much. And such a lovely word from Him: "Give me your five loaves, and watch me multiply it.” Karen
