Father God Lord Jesus Holy Spirit We present ourselves before You again this Sunday. We have committed ourselves to You. At some point, we said “Yes,” Because You convinced us, Jesus, that You are who You say You are. To the woman You met at the well In the middle of the day, You affirmed That You are the Messiah. You are the Son of Man sent to redeem us. Our commitment to living out our trust in You Gives our lives structure and boundaries. We gather on Sundays to remind ourselves Of truth that supersedes all competing beliefs. We understand we can have our own beliefs But we cannot have our own truth. There is absolute truth And You, Father, Son, and Spirit, are it. We find the only rest to be found As we structure our days in You. You, alone, hold us together. You are before all things and In You all things hold together. Sometimes we’re afraid You won’t hold. That things are spinning out of control. Hold us, Lord Jesus. We need You. We will never give up saying “Yes.” Every day brings both challenge and comfort. But the best will arrive at the right time, When You return with eternal rest, joy, and peace. Amen.
