Father God Lord Jesus Holy Spirit We present ourselves before You again this Sunday. Whatever turn our lives have taken this week, This morning, we give You glory. Because that is the purpose of our lives. We exist to love and honor You, Testifying of your manifold wisdom To the principalities and powers In the heavenly places. And so we do. We who worked together to love our neighbors Rejoice at your protection. Thank You for safety and cooperation. We put in windows and a door. We built a shed and a food pantry. We developed a board game. We cleaned. We cooked. We ate together. We washed dishes. We worshipped. Thank You. But some of us have felt the weight Of life under the god of this world Who is no god at all. We have felt unsafe, unseen, insecure. Lord Jesus, please refresh us— Those of us who are just tired And those of us who are sick and tired. We will never give up assembling together. There’s always more refining to receive. And the best is yet to be, when true safety, Security, and rejoicing will endure. Amen.
