Ten Appreciations Before Breakfast

Inspired by this link where Professor Felker Jones enumerates 95 miracles, I sought to articulate appreciation of 10 aspects of God’s provision in the first hours of this day:
Pink Dogwood trees
The sound of a garbage truck—people willing to carry away our smelly refuse.
On our morning walk, the smell of the yellow iris blooming against the white fence.
Sand, readily available at Farm and Fleet, for evening out the brick driveway.
Colorful baskets made by Ghanian artisans.
Cherry wood armoire inherited from my dear mother-in-law.
Wrought iron handles on the Simply Amish hutch.
Fish print made from inking a real fish pressed against art paper.
Cottage cheese with apple, cinnamon, pecans, a splash of maple syrup.
A brain that works, to appreciate all this wondrous provision.
May we not take for granted His provision, his miracles, his tenderhearted care for us.
