No Boulder is Bigger Than You, Jesus

Father God Lord Jesus Holy Spirit We present ourselves before You again this Sunday. You are our light and our salvation. We walk by the illumination of your word. We await the complete healing You promise. We say the right words. We want to do what’s right, But so much conspires against us. Our restless hearts, our desires for comfort, And our doubts about your goodness All create obstacles on our path. Some of us might carry so much hurt and anger, We can’t see You beside us. We may feel lost, even if we know we’re not. We know, in some fundamental way, That You have hold of our hand as We put one foot in front of the other. Come, Lord Jesus, by your Spirit, and Reveal again, and again, the character And love of the Father who cares. Give us grace to let You carry the baggage That now slows us down. You are the God of all the earth. There is nothing too difficult for You. We will hope in You when the obstacles Loom larger than our faith, trusting That no boulder on the trail is bigger than You. We will never step away from your path. There is no other guide worth following. And we will, by grace, in the end, Find more love than we can imagine. Amen.

I always like your unique (AND BIBLICAL) balance. There are huge obstacles to our intimacy and walk with God. Some people blame everyone else (and God) while other people blame and shame us.
You have a sweet, delicate balance. Yes, we in our sin create obstacles (as you say, "Our restless hearts, our desires for comfort, And our doubts about your goodness").
But you aren't scolding or shaming, instead you are compassionate, you see our suffering (as you say, "Some of us might carry so much hurt and anger, We can’t see You beside us. We may feel lost, even if we know we’re not.")
And your answer is not "just do better!" It is a prayer that God show Himself to us ("Come, Lord Jesus, by your Spirit, and Reveal again, and again, the character And love of the Father who cares. Give us grace to let You carry the baggage").
THAT is what we need.
