Father God Lord Jesus Holy Spirit We present ourselves before You again this Sunday. As we mark the end of 2024, We remember and anticipate. For some of us, 2024 was the hardest year of our lives. For others, it was the best. For most, it was a year much like other years. We did our daily duties. We slept, we ate, we took care of business. We went to work or to volunteer or We took our daily spot from Which we observed and served. We look forward, now, to 2025. We trust You will be present to us In fresh ways, to carry us into the future You mean to create with us. We are mindful, today, that some years Mark our lives into before and after, Perhaps starting with an unexpected phone call. We remember where we were, what we were doing, And nothing has been the same since. That’s what You did, Jesus, when You Split time in half: before your advent And where we live now, in the year of our Lord, after. We celebrate the immense importance Of your birth that marks time itself. We will never give up reflecting and observing. There’s always more to consider. And the best is yet to be: no life-altering years, Just the joyful process of eternal discovery. Amen.
