Father God Lord Jesus Holy Spirit We present ourselves before You again this Sunday. You are the potter, we are the clay. You center the lump and throw the pot, Shaping us into your image. Recenter our hearts on You, Lord Jesus. Like the potter centers the clay on the wheel, Take the lump of clay that we are And push every piece of us into Right orientation to You. We want to relax and trust this process. But when we are honest with ourselves And with You, we uncover our Rebellion, our worry, our unbelief. So often, it’s pain that helps us uncover Hidden sin because we notice we’re not So calm and trusting as we imagined. We don’t relish either the pain or The exposure, but they serve us well. Your ways are not our ways Nor are your thoughts our thoughts. Your perspective is the center of truth. Our perspective is off because we tend To resist the potter’s hands. Oh, Lord, make us pliable under your shaping. Give us grace to yield gratefully. We will never give up accepting your centering. There’s always more clay to push into shape. And the best is yet to be, when every heart Will be completely centered on You. Amen.

Hi Karen,
I appreciate (I ALWAYS appreciate) your double honesty: honesty with our suffering and honesty with our sin.
Today I especially appreciate how you refuse to adopt the world's "I'm okay You're Okay" approach to our own rebellion ... we are NOT okay. We do rebel, worry, and doubt.
But you don't let our sin stop us from turning to God; because our only hope in our sin is the love of the Father.
Thanks once again, from one rebel to another; May God save us from ourselves and shape us into Him.
Thank you Karen. Have a blessed Sunday.
