Father God Lord Jesus Holy Spirit We present ourselves before You again this Sunday. Even those of us who think we Are relaxed this morning May be carrying more than we think. Our emotional weight can, after a time, Feel normal and routine. But we all live in tense times just now. Wars and rumors of war abound. Political fears spur anxiety and anger. And so, we come to You. We remind ourselves that You are The Prince of Peace. And we long for your peace to permeate Our hearts and our spirits. Come, Holy Spirit, come to fill us fresh. Empower us for more trust— To put all our weight down on You. We confess we find You somewhat abstract, Hard to grasp, hard to imagine your solidity. But we also confess that You—Father, Son, And Spirit—are the eternal still point of life Both personally and communally. You are He who spoke all creation Into existence. By your word alone, You created. And then You made Adam out of the dust. You are the solid rock of reality. We will never stop giving You our fear. There’s always more peace to receive. And the best is yet to be, when faith Becomes the sight of your glory unveiled. Amen.
