Father God Lord Jesus Holy Spirit We present ourselves before You again this Sunday. You are the God of all the earth. Nothing is too difficult for You. You have made each one of us in your image. And You invite us into your community Where You are the good and wise King. It’s your sacrifice, Jesus, and our response That creates the way of reconciliation. Our sin, our shame, our iniquities Are dissolved in the purity of your sacrificial love. Love that seeks the beloved. Love that pays the price. Love that, when the cross is imminent, Looks for the joy to come. We will never understand The mysteries at the center of the universe. How is it possible that the creator Can take on the form and flesh Of the created? And what kind of intensity does it take for The Word, having become flesh, To stay flesh, in the glorified body, Forever? What God so identifies with his creation That He fuses Himself to what He’s made, Forever changed, but also not. We will never give up marveling. There’s always more mystery. And the best will be when we are fully Restored into your joyful image. Amen.

Hi Karen,
Really beautiful! And moving.
First, I love, "Nothing is too difficult for You." (I need that reminder. It means He can [easily] heal, free, protect, change, and feed. But when He doesn't ... He always has something better than that "healing" in "that" moment.)
And then I love your, 'sin / shame / iniquities' "Are dissolved in the purity of your sacrificial love." (Yes! Too often I just want to banish my sin/shame/iniquities rather then bringing the very worst to Him and letting Him "dissolve" [great word] them in His presence.)
THANKS
