The time for lily blooms is right around the corner. We expect what are now buds to develop into blooms. Based on previous years of experience we trust the signs that beauty will soon be born. Our hope for beautiful blooms is not a wishful hope. It is a hope founded on experience.
The time of the kingdom could well be right around the corner. Jesus’ promise to return might already be in bud. That’s harder to tell than lily buds, but no less sure. Our hope in his promise is not wishful thinking. It’s a hope founded on years of testimony from others and our own experience of Him. He is a good and faithful God and will fulfill all his plans, for us and for the cosmos. Glory.
The Lord bless you and keep you all your days.
Amen, and come Lord Jesus!
Hi Karen,
I love your thought, "Our hope in his promise is not wishful thinking. It’s a hope founded on years of testimony ..."
Yes indeed! There are years (and decades and centuries) of testimonies of His faithfulness.
Why do I forget?
